Our Spring Gala Auction (March, 2017) is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Museum School. We need a lot of good items and services to make the auction a success so we are starting to get donated items now with this contest! Let’s make it fun and see how much we can get. The businesses you frequent are the best ones to ask for a donation. GO GET SOME STUFF!
During the week of Dec. 5-9 bring in donated items for the live or silent auction. The class in each category that brings in the most items WINS AN ICE CREAM PARTY! The one student that brings in the most items WINS LUNCH WITH PHIL AT A RESTAURANT!
Kindergarten, First & Second will compete against each other
Third, Fourth & Fifth will compete against each other
Sixth, Seventh & Eighth will compete against each other
HOW TO PLAY
We provide a donation letter and form that you can bring to businesses. They donate a service or item to us and they get a tax deduction. You can pick up forms in the office or download them here: Donation Letter Donation Form

The week of Dec. 5-9, before and after school volunteers will be in front of the school to collect and record your donations. Please don’t turn your donations in to the office before the contest. Thanks

Big ticket items that would be good for the Live Auction – Airline tickets, hotel stays, bike, surfboard, hosted event like dinner for 10 or a day on your yacht, autographed stuff, Disneyland tickets…

Does an email confirmation count for a point? Yes! If the business has made a written confirmation of a donation, that’s good enough for now.
Can I volunteer to collect donations the week of Dec 5-9? Yes! Sign up here if you can volunteer to collect donated items.
What if I have more than one child? You can only choose one grade level per item donated. Solution: get one or more items per child. If your child brings in the most donations in the contest, they can bring their Museum School siblings to lunch with Mr. Phil.
Do I have to log in my donations on the easy and convenient Donation Google Form? No, you don’t have to, but it would help others see what has been donated so we don’t ask the same business twice. We will do it for you if you haven’t already during the week of December 5-9.
