THE GOVERNANCE COUNCILThe Governance Council is site-based and follows a consensus model. Operation and fiscal accountability of the school will be monitored and guided by a formal governing board. The Governance Council is comprised of elected parents, staff and community members who serve two year, renewable terms. All meetings are open to the public and subject to the Brown Act. If you are interested in becoming a Governance Council Board Member, please contact Phil at museumschoolphil@gmail.com SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL - TOWN HALL MEETINGSThe School Site Council is open to all parents. The Museum School Site Council serves as an advisory sub-committee to the Governance Council and administration of the school. Meetings are scheduled every six weeks or so (see the school calendar). These meetings are primarily to keep parents informed and provide a forum for discussion and suggestions. Many great ideas stem from parents' suggestions at these meetings. We welcome and encourage everyone's participation.
